TESTIMONIAL
How did you get to know ACCAPI?
A friend of mine well known in the environment as sports goods retailer, Massimo Guidi, introduced me to the company that supplies him from a long time. He knows that I'm always searching for new quality products that could impact my performance.
What are your first impressions after testing ACCAPI products?
At first I was a bit sceptical about this "strange" ACCAPI FIR fibre effects, but fascinated. In other words it comes from a Japanese yarn, on which Accapi has European exclusivity, that contains metals such as platinum, titanium and aluminium;
this special composition allows it to produce a continuous release of energy similar to the range of infrared rays. The cellular processes are stimulated, allowing a more rapid absorption of essential nutrients and a constant release of toxins, which is important, especially in the early stages of energy recovery.
Promises kept?
I have to say yes, absolutely. The first item I tested was the buff! I was blown away… I wore it in a during a training session on the Apennines in a hot and sunny day, from the beginning to the end of it, it kept my head cool despite the climate and its black colour! It was a strange feeling, since I'm used to continuously wet it with fresh water to keep my head cold. This fabric gives optimal thermoregulation, whether it is cold or hot, the body temperature is optimized, and the sweat evaporates more quickly.
The following day I just wanted to try the shirts. They gave me the same feeling .. Maximum comfort on the skin, due to the absence of seams, and the possibility to move as if you are not wearing anything.
Another thing that surprised me was the recovery. Both after my training and after a few races I tried to wear the pants for several hours, even went to sleep with them, they give you a sensation of "light legs", the recovery times and muscular pain are considerably reduced.
Would you then say "Try it to believe"?
Absolutely. I think that once you've tried and get accustomed to these products it's hard to let them go! Among other things, the fabric effect does not decrease over time or after washing. Curiosity: I found myself repeatedly using the same shirt without washing it! They then explained me that Nexus fibre has a natural antibacterial action. Another thing that I'd like to mention is how light it is, the pants are like only 80 grams. When you run in the desert by yourself for multiple days, even the weight of what you're wearing is important.
